where does the name "caminata" come from?
location known as "kematen" are mentioned in the first half of the ninth century in all official documents and all have the latin word "caminata" at their root, which was then transformed into "kemenāten" in medieval german.
"caminata" and its transformation into german, indicates the heated premises of a place of refreshment, a building heated by a stone fireplace.
